Flat Attack

I look at my feet and I am sad. You want to know why?

I wear the same old boring black or grey flats to work pretty much every day. Time has come to shake things up a bit.

This weekend I’m heading home (!!) and going to do some major Lucy office-wear shopping.

These flats are offering me some inspiration… I love the first color block flats but those are a little too much out of my price range. Gotta wait til I start making the big bucks.

1. Lanvin $625 / 2. Lucky Brand $59 / 3. Steve Madden $70 / 4.  Steve Madden $60 / 5.  Aldo $40 / 6. Frye $148 / 7. Yosi Samra $66 / 8. Tommy Hilfiger $59

New Love: Perfume Sticks

I know it sounds weird… perfume… in a stick. What?

Maybe I’m the only one who’s late to this boat (or perhaps the only one who likes this) but I just got my first perfume stick and I am obsessed!

A few weeks ago I went to visit a friend in Savannah, who goes to the Savannah College of Art and Design. Right down the street from her house is the SCAD store, where all products there are designed by students/alumni.

They had these fantastic perfume sticks (I thought they were deoderant) and never knew that perfume sticks existed. I bought three instantly, a lavender basil, vanilla honey and some freesia combination.

I’m hooked. They last ages and are just a very hint of fragrance, but it’s a nice subetly that people notice.

Here’s a couple I can’t wait to try: 1. Happy by Clinque / 2.  Stella by Tocca / 3. Marc Jacobs / 4. Daisy by Marc Jacobs

She Lets Her Hair Down

Do you ever feel like you’re in a hair rut?

My hair seems to not be able to grow any longer and it pretty much is just haaaanging there. Zero excitement.

Enter this fun little hair blog called She Lets Her Hair Down. I love reading blogs about pretty much any topic, but hair is a fun new one that I had never really looked at before. Lots of inspiration and I’ve actually learned a couple handy tricks reading this blog.

Plus, she features our girl Zoe so you know we like that.

Bunny Pumpkin

Hi friends.

Happy almost weekend. It’s so close… yet so far.

Today’s I love, I need comes from somewhere down south (yay!) from a past student of Savannah College of Art Design. Savannah happens to be the sister city of Charleston, which is where I’m in college (I can only say that for a little longer as I graduate in t-minus one week).

Anyways, this chick is fantastic featuring custom couple prints, custom fabrics, super cute illustrations and loads more. You can check her out here, as she has shops in multiple places. Here’s some of my favorites… and I cannot help thinking how cute a custom print with my dog would be…

Are you ready to aww?

From one of the most wonderful bloggers Amanda Jane Jones comes this awesome series called “My Better Half.” She interviews super cute couples, asking them their stories and three things about themselves. Then she takes photos of them and does little infographics.

Really “aww” inducing I promise. Here’s a couple really cute pictures from the series and my favorite (obviously, most likely your favorite too… I mean they are behind Rockstar Diaries) you can read here.

Who’s your better half? It’s totally fine if it’s your sister (hi, Jess!) or even a new puppy (hi, Darwin!)

xx, Lucy
