As most of you know, I bid the Upper East Side adieu tomorrow and head on down to Brooklyn. Here are some shots of my new hood courtesy of Flickr for you to enjoy:

And just to update you on my relationship with IKEA, we made some compromises and I wound up with some good stuff for the new pad. We picked up this, this and this as well as several other items–a few that were actually essential and a few that I may have deemed “essential.”

We also found a desk chair in the “as is” section that was $50 off the price of the original item, so thanks for suggesting we head over there before checking out!
