Fun fact: The first thing we did in Barcelona after checking into our hotel was exchange goods (please tell me we aren’t the only family, or group of women, to do these kinds of things before even considering how to plan our time in a brand new city). Lucy got her long-awaited boxes of Annie’s mac n’ cheese and tinted moisturizer and my mom and I got our Galway rings–a one of a kind ring that details the history of Galway with symbols including Galway’s Spanish Arch, the Galway Hooker and the claddagh, a symbol of love, loyalty and friendship. They’re beautiful, timeless and best of all, remind me of Lucy every time I look at it. Now, if only my fat little fingers would stop swelling in the heat long enough for me to wear mine for a full day :)
